Our leather desk journal features 192 pages, bound, glued, and stitched into a refined but almost indestructible, bonded or simulated leather cover. This compact journal is capable of traveling easily from briefcase to backpack.
Its ivory or white pages are acid-free with just the right “tooth” to make writing with either a ballpoint pen or #2 pencil a noteworthy experience. Gold gilded or white page edges. Personalized Desk Journals are available.

Texture and Finish
Acadia - Smooth, slightly glossy finish
With a subtle glazed-like, smooth grain, our Acadia bonded leather has a great feel with a slightly glossy finish.
Camden - Slightly textured, matte finish
With a more pronounced and deeper texture, our Camden bonded leather has a great look and feel with a matte finish.
Freeport - Smooth, matte finish
A more subdued leather, our Freeport bonded leather sports a long-grain mixed with pockets of a shorter, more natural grain. Its matte finish enhances a smooth and muted texture that feels wonderful to the touch.
Freeport Metallic - Elegant, smooth, sparkling finish
Our Freeport Metallic leather replaces our simulated leather metallics with expanded colors. Like regular Freeport, it has a long-grain mixed with pockets of a shorter, more natural grain, and its matte finish enhances a smooth and muted texture that feels wonderful to the touch.
Floral - Highly textured, matte finish
Our Floral grain is a unique, highly textured, embossed bonded leather that comes in a swirling, botanical pattern. Black stamping is standard to complete the bold look. Personalization is not available on this grain, but we think you'll love it on its own.
Monhegan - Soft, slightly textured finish
A full-grain leather option that makes every cover unique, displaying the inherent variations of each hide. Monhegan has a natural, luxurious, and plush feel.
Tremont - Soft, slightly textured finish
A full-grain leather option that achieves the look of goatskin. The goat grain is both clearly visible and consistent. Tremont has a soft, thick, and supple feel.

Caring for Your Leather
Leather is a beautiful, durable material when cared for properly. Our bonded leather is best cared for through normal handling. Your hands provide the natural oils that nourish most leather. Our bonded leather is tanned specifically with special oils that replace the need to apply any creams or waxes. For normal dirt and spills, use a soft washcloth dampened with lukewarm water and some sort of mild detergent. Once clean, dry your leather with a clean towel. Do not use alcohol, cleaning solvents, oils, varnishes, or polishes. Avoid extreme temperatures.

Desk Leather Journal 4 people found this helpfulI've used this journal now for almost two decades. I love it. However, the price suddenly (in a matter of months) has rocketed up more than 60%, to a point where I cannot longer afford it and must part with it. An unfortunate turn of market events. I don't know if t his will work out for the company in the long run-- from 3 to 4 journals I bought a year down to zero Price raises cannot be that abrupt.

Please understand that for small businesses such as Gallery Leather, there are certain decisions in regard to pricing that are necessary in order for our company to remain open and manufacture the products that our customers truly love. We understand that times are tough and we take this into consideration with each and every pricing change made. We always try and make these changes as minimal as possible and have even introduced a new quality line of products called Harbor that allows our customers an option to purchase our wonderful products at bargain prices and still receive the highest-grade products offered within our market.
