Personalization
Personalizing your journal can help you to create a theme and enhance the memories you’ll be preserving in it. Gallery Leather offers several different color and text options that fit any style. By including the recipient’s initials or adding a message to a journal, you create a meaningful gift that will be cherished for years to come.
Caring for Your Leather
Leather is a beautiful, durable material when cared for properly. Our bonded leather is best cared for through normal handling. Your hands provide the natural oils that nourish most leather. Our bonded leather is tanned specifically with special oils that replace the need to apply any creams or waxes. For normal dirt and spills, use a soft washcloth dampened with lukewarm water and some sort of mild detergent. Once clean, dry your leather with a clean towel. Do not use alcohol, cleaning solvents, oils, varnishes, or polishes. Avoid extreme temperatures.
Assembled in Bar Harbor, Maine, USA

For the past 40 years, Gallery Leather has been part of that rich tradition, handcrafting leather products of exceptional quality. Over the years, we have made leather goods for many of North America's luxury brands, all assembled by hand in Maine and guaranteed to last for generations.

A place to record those timeless moments, memories or ideas. 1 people found this helpfulI've used this particular type of journal for a number of years having first purchased my first one at Barnes and Noble years ago. However, the last time I looked at Barnes and Noble, I didn't see them in stock so I came on here and bought them online. As for the product itself there are a number of reasons I am a repeat purchaser:- Consistent Styling - As someone who has kept a journal for a number of years, it becomes nice after a certain point to be able to buy identical journals. Everything looks consistent instead of having a menagerie of different books. Buying from a journal maker who has been in business a long time and produces a quality product, helps to ensure that.- Paper Size - I've tried smaller journals but honestly if your going to do a fair amount of writing I think it is better to use a larger journal. I think it makes writing easier. Your hand rests on the page better, you have to turn pages less, and there are less interruptions to your training of thought.- Materials - Using a leather bound journal on acid free paper means that your thoughts and ideas are probably going to be around as long as you are, if not longer.- Presentation - I personally think the leather binding, the gold leafing and the cloth page marker make for a classy appearance. Whenever I writing in my journal I feel like it is a special experience. In terms of downsides I don't think that there are much and if there are they would be mostly a matter of personal preference. Here is a couple that I could think of:- Presentation - As a guy I love the look and feel of leather, but it is definitely masculine. If you were a woman, you might prefer something with a bit more feminine look and feel.- Size - I mostly use mine as a desk journal. However, if you are someone who takes their journal with them and space or size is a concern, then this might not be the journal for you. - Other - I don't know, I'm probably reaching here but other journals I have had in the past have had clasps and things like that. If those are something that you need or want, this might not perfectly suite your needs. At anyrate, I have been and I am fully satisfied with my purchase and I think that you will be to if you decide to buy one (with the caveats mentioned above). It is a product that I would definitely recommend.

BEAUTIFUL journal! Very pleased with it. 1 people found this helpfulPros: feels sturdy, beautiful burgundy color, decently thick and gorgeous gilded pages, handy ribbon bookmark. It is a great size, no cramping to fit your hand on the page when writing but not incredibly large either.Cons: a little pricey for its size. Does not lay flat, but this doesn't bother me as the spine is not terribly stiff, either.Overall a good purchase. It makes me feel good about my writing - I use it as a regular journal - and that's the most important thing, to me.

just a nice journal, with smaller 1 people found this helpfulExactly what I was looking for. No fancy quotes to clutter up the pages, just a nice journal, with smaller, executive-set lines to write on. I really didn't like previous journals, where the line spacing was large. This fits my writing style well.
